Venetian Blinds and Curtain Cleaning for Natural Ventilation

Most people usually left out venetian blinds while daily office cleaning. It generally proves to be a mistake when curtain cleaning and venetian blind cleaning time ultimately comes around. Only few minutes are required for cleaning venetian blinds once a week. At last, it could save a huge expense of the business in replacing those dirty, unusable blinds or the cost for hiring a professional cleaner to take them away to clean.

Blinds and curtains don’t just keep out the cold and sun; they also filter out the air we inhale. So, curtain cleaning and venetian blinds cleaning on regular basis are necessary to get a bit of natural ventilation. Luckily, cleaning venetian blinds should not take more than five minutes of your time. You can use duster for it but it spreads dust around. So, it’s better to use vacuum cleaner or upholstery attachment for that purpose.

If you want to keep your blinds looking best just as a new one installed, it is worth to schedule venetian blind cleaning every week. While cleaning venetian blinds, first clean it with a dry and soft cloth. Take cloth and run it over each and every lath, ensuring to get up as much dust as possible.

For the deeper stains on them, blind and curtain cleaning depends on the material from which it is made up of. If you have metal or plastic blinds, you can leave them to soak in hot water or in the bath the way you use with a stained cloth. To remove any excess dirt, wipe them thoroughly and hang them to dry out afterwards.
